Day 1. Transfer Almaty -
"Prosveshenets" sanatorium (by
autotransport).
Ride: "Prosveshenets" sanatorium -
Kok-Dzhailau pass - Big Almaty gorge - Big Almaty
Lake.
Day 2. Ride: Big Almaty Lake - Mutny glacier
moraine.
Day 3. Mutny glacier moraine - radial walk
ascending the Tourists pass (4020 m.,
1 A) - riding to Almaty-Alagur pass.
Day 4. Almaty gorge - Almaty-Alagir pass -
Prokhodnoye gorge - Alyoshkin Most glade.
Day 5. Alyoshkin Most glade -
"Alma-Arasan" sanatorium - Almaty gorge
- Kok-Jailyau pass - "Prosveshenets"
sanatorium - transfer to Almaty.

The route begins from "Medeo", Kim Asar
(transfer by autotransport).
Day 1. Transfer: Almaty - "Medeo".
Riding: Kim-Asar - Komissarovsky pass -
Butakovskoye gorge - Butakovsky pass - Levy
Talgar river - KAZPI glade.
Day 2. KAZPI glade - Komsomolka river - water
fall - Solnechnaya glade.
Day 3. Solnechnaya glade - Butakovsky pass -
radial walk or ride to the upper Levy Talgar
river - Solnechnaya glade.
Day 4. Solnechnaya glade - Butakovsky pass -
Kim-Asar gorge - "Medeo". Transfer
Almaty.

PROGRAM

along the Kolsai Lakes

Having chosen this rout you will
enjoy the unique views of the North Tien-Shan and the
heavenly cascade of high-mountains Kolsai lakes
Route: Almaty - Kurmenty (by bus) -
Kolsai-1 lake - Kolsai-2 lake - Kolsai-3 lake -
Sary-Bulak pass - Sary-Bulak settlement (Issyk-Kul -
Almaty
Transfer from Almaty to Kurmenty settlement.
Lunch in Kurmenty and arrangements for the tour.
In the evening dinner - national meal (beshbarmak, tea,
cookies and sweets).
Day 1: 9 AM - leaving for the rout. The
tourists pass the lakes Kolsai-1 and Kolsai-2 in the
Kolsai gorge. The 2d lake is at the altitude of 2200 m
over the sea level. Duration of the 1st day rout is about
6 hours. Overnight.
Day 2: 9 AM - leaving for the rout. The
tourists assend the Sary-Bulak pass (3200 m over the sea
level) which the frontaer point between Kazakhstan and
Kirgizstan and then dissend to the place of overnight.
Overnight. Duration of the 2d day rout about 6 hours.
Day 3: 9 AM - leaving for the rout.
Dissending to the Issyk-Kul Lake (Sary-Bulak settlement).
Duration: 4-6 hours. Transfer from Sary-Bulak settlement
to the sanatorium on the Issyk-Kul Lake.
The tourists stay at the sanatorium for some days on
their wish. Then transfer to Almaty.
