TREKKING TOURS
(Routes to Issyk-Kul Lake)

ROUTE No 1 (6 - day route of the 1-st category of complication)
1. Transfer by autotransport: Almaty - "Alma-Arasan" sanatorium.
Trekking up Prokhodnoye gorge. Overnight at "Alyoshkin Most" glade
(the upper level of the forest).
2. Prokhodnoye gorge - Prokhodnoi pass (3600 m) - Primulas Lake.
Overnight.
3. Primulas Lake Primulas Lake - Chon-Kemin river - Bel gorge.
Overnight.
4. Bel gorge - Bel glacier. Overnight.
5. Bel glacier - Bel pass - descending. Overnight in the forest zone.
6. Trekking to Issyk-Kul Lake.

ROUTE No 2 (8-day route of the 1-st category of complication)
1. Transfer by autotransport: Almaty - Big Almaty Lake.
Trekking to the upper level of the forest. Overnight.
2. Upper level of the forest - Ozerny pass (3400 m).
Overnight on the other side of the pass.
3. Ozerny pass - Chon-Kemin river - Dzhassikkol Lake. Overnight.
4. A day stay at the lake.
5. Dzhassikkol Lake - Aksu river - Aksu glacier. Overnight.
6. Aksu glassier - Aksu North pass (1A, 4100 m) - Grigoryevskoye gorge. Overnight.
7. Descending down Grigoryevskoye gorge - Issyk-Kul Lake.

ROUTE No 3 (10-day route of the 2-d category of complication).
1. Transfer by autotransport: Almaty - sport complex "Medeo". Trekking up Kim Asar
gorge to the upper level of the forest. Overnight.
2. Kim Asar gorge - Butakovssky pass (3000 m) - Levy Talgar gorge - KAZPI glade. Overnight.
3. A day stay. Radial trekking to a waterfall. Overnight.
4. KAZPI glade - Solnechnaya glade. Overnight.
5. Solnechnaya glade - Dmitriev glacier circus. Overnight.
6. Dmitriev glacier circus - Dmitriev glacier - Festivalny pass (1B, 4180 m) - Yugo Zapadny Talgar river. Overnight.
7. Yugo Zapadny Talgar river - Chon-Kemin river - Dzhassikkol lake. Overnight.
8. Dzhassikkol like - Aksu River - Aksu glacier. Overnight.
9. Aksu glacier - Bozteri Zapadny pass (1B, 4150 m) - Bozteri glacier. Overnight lower the moraine lake.
10. Bozteri gorge - Issyk-Kul Lake.

The routes are supposed that a day trekking is from 4 to 8 hours.

COST OF SERVICES:

3. Porters (2 porters for 3 tourists) --- 15 $ per day
4. Nutrition -------------------------- 15 $ per day

Cost of services doesn't include:
- transfer from Almaty to the initial point of the route
- transfer from the final point of the route to Almaty

Nutrition of the guide, interpreter and porters is at the client's expense.
When the group is more than 10 persons - 2 guides.
